Can ClonerAlliance Box Pro Pocket Record 5.1 Audio?¶
The ClonerAlliance Box Pro Pocket records audio in stereo PCM format (2-channel). It does not support recording of 5.1 surround sound audio. If your source device outputs 5.1 audio, the recording will automatically be downmixed to stereo.
Supported Audio Formats¶
Stereo PCM: The device captures audio in this format, which is compatible with most media players.
AAC stereo: Compressed audio format used in the recorded MP4 files.
How to Ensure Proper Audio Recording¶
Check the source device: If your source device is set to output 5.1 audio, you will need to switch it to stereo PCM for accurate audio recording. - For example, on your Blu-ray player or gaming console, navigate to the audio settings and select PCM or stereo.
Connect via HDMI or Line In: For best audio quality, use HDMI or the Line In port for external audio sources.
