Can ClonerAlliance Box Pro Pocket Use Both TF Card and USB Drive for Storage?

Yes, the ClonerAlliance Box Pro Pocket supports the use of both a TF card and a USB drive for storage, but it can only record to one storage device at a time. The device gives priority to the USB drive if both are inserted.

Using TF Card and USB Drive for Storage

  • TF Card: Supports up to 512GB in capacity, formatted as FAT32 or exFAT. TF cards are ideal for portability and small-scale recording.

  • USB Drive: Supports up to 512GB for USB flash drives and up to 8TB for external hard drives. USB drives are best for larger recording sessions.

When both a TF card and USB drive are inserted, the ClonerAlliance Box Pro Pocket will automatically select the USB drive as the storage device for recording. If only one is inserted, it will use the available storage option.

Important Notes for Storage

  1. Storage Format: Ensure that the storage device is formatted as FAT32, exFAT, or NTFS. Using the correct format ensures that the device can record video without interruption.

  2. File System Limits: If using FAT32, remember that individual file sizes are limited to 4GB. For larger files, use exFAT or NTFS.

  3. Storage Priority: If both storage options are inserted, the USB drive will be prioritized over the TF card.

Note

Always safely eject the storage device after recording to prevent data corruption.
