Why Isn’t My USB Drive Detected or Working with ClonerAlliance Box Pro Pocket?

If your USB drive isn’t being detected by the ClonerAlliance Box Pro Pocket, it may be due to compatibility issues, formatting problems, or device errors. Follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Steps to Troubleshoot USB Detection Issues

  1. Check USB drive compatibility: - ClonerAlliance Box Pro Pocket supports USB drives formatted to FAT32, exFAT, or NTFS file systems. - Ensure the USB flash drive/TF card capacity is below 512GB, external HDD capacity is below 8TB. Larger drives may not be compatible with the device.

  2. Format the USB drive: - If the drive is not detected, try formatting it to exFAT or NTFS using your computer. FAT32 is also supported but limits file sizes to 4GB. - Perform a full format rather than a quick format to ensure compatibility.

  3. Check for errors:

If the USB drive is still not detected, check the drive for errors using your computer’s built-in disk management tool. If errors are found, fix them before trying again.

Other USB Drive Tips

  • Use a high-speed USB 3.0 drive: This ensures smooth recording, especially for higher resolutions like 1080p60.

  • Check for sufficient space: Ensure that the USB drive has enough free space for recording.

  • Restart the device: Power off the ClonerAlliance Box Pro Pocket and reconnect the USB drive before powering it back on.

Note

If the USB drive is still not working, try using a different drive or contact ClonerAlliance support for further assistance.
