How to set display mode to mirror?¶
To set your system display mode to mirror mode on Windows:
Right-click on the desktop and select “Display Settings” or “Screen Resolution.”
In the display settings, look for a section labeled “Multiple displays.”
In this section, select the option “Duplicate these displays” or “Mirror display.”
Apply the changes.
This will set your display to mirror mode, where the same content is shown on all connected displays. The exact steps might vary slightly depending on your operating system and its version.
To set your system display mode to mirror mode on Macos:
Open System Preferences: Click on the Apple logo in the top left corner of your screen, then select “System Preferences.”
Go to Displays: Click on the “Displays” preference pane. This opens the settings for your screen.
Arrange Tab: If you have multiple displays connected, a tab called “Arrangement” will appear. Click on this tab.
- Enable Mirror Displays: Within the “Arrangement” tab, you’ll find a checkbox labeled “Mirror Displays.” Check this box to enable mirroring.
When “Mirror Displays” is checked, all connected monitors will display the same content.
If the checkbox is not visible, it might be because only one display is connected or detected by your Mac.
Adjust Resolution (if necessary): Once mirroring is enabled, you may need to adjust the resolution to optimize display quality. This can be done from the “Display” tab in the same “Displays” settings window. Choose a resolution that works best for all connected screens.
Close System Preferences: Your changes will be saved automatically when you exit System Preferences.
